About Me
As you may have seen on my home page, my name is Jasmyne Bristow and Im 12 years old. I am a 3rd generation dog show handler, with my mother having Golden Retrievers and my grandmother Rose Bristow succesfully Showed and  bred under the Japets prefix (amongst other breeds) Japanese Chins and Griffon Bruxellois .

I have been showing dogs for about 4 years, but within the last 12 months I have become more involved in it, handling everything from Welsh Terriers to Pyrenean Mastiffs.

I really enjoy handling all different breeds of dogs, as I believe in order to be a good handler, you need to learn everything about your chosen breed, from breed history to country of origin to grooming.

In the future- I hope to become a canine haemotologist as I love all animals, especially dogs and find haemotology fascintating.

I would like to thank all the people that have given me the opportunity to practise and/or handle their dogs.  A special thanks must go out to those that have given me all the tips and information on the breeds I have chosen to handle and those that have taken me to shows and introduced me to a wide range of people.

In particular I would like to thank Tracey Powell who initially taught me to handle, Robyn Raven my current handlers coach (who is giving me new dogs to handle in the conformation ring now) and especially my mum for getting me into the sport of dog showing.
